This breed was developed in 1949 in the Netherlands but they didn't appear in the United States until 1976. They were accepted into the ARBA standards for 1980. This means we breed and care for a specific breed of Rabbit, called English Angora. English Angora Rabbits (EARs) are wool producing animals, like some sheep and goats but in a much smaller form.
